a 3d nail is when you build a design out of acrylic onto the nail for example (diamonds, squares, floers etc)and this can also be done with colored acrylics as well....junk nails are when you put a lot of rhinestones on the nails basically covering the entire tip with nothing but rhinestones of all sizes and colors
