: I am having trouble with lifting when I apply
: acrylic over the natural nails. Any
: suggestions on what I should do when the
: natural nail begins to separate from the
: acrylic? I have only noticed small areas. Is
: is okay to apply a drop of glue?
:
No. I wouldn't because you can seal any little bit of moisture in the nail and cause your client to develope a nail fungus. First thing to do is remove clients natural oils with pure acetone, etch the nail to remove any extra cuticle (what causes lifting), apply PH balancer or dehydrator wait for it to blanch(turn white), apply primer then apply your acrylic. When you are finished filing, file around the cuticles with your diamond bit to insure adhesiveness. Then your clients lifting problems shouls subside. You can also use on tip application also.
