A confirmed sighting of the grey crested foulk has been reported. The last time this rare example was seen was the late 70s although it has been seen more recently further up the pass. It is suspected that this is a mature male, driven from its normal habitate by poor weather, and may even be the same bird.
Its reapperance is most welcome.
