Thanks for the responses. Connie, bloodwork has come back okay. Just this restless thing and waking up in the early morning hours. I wonder if part of it is we have a new pup...a "stray" who wandered into our yard last summer. Needless to say, she lives with us now. And getting up with her at night may have messed up Gidget's clock. The whining and barking is a new behavior for Gidget now. She just seems restless alot compared to how she used to be. I did get some Rescue Remedy...but really don't notice much difference with it. I'm glad to hear Sander is doing okay. I guess Sander and Gidget have alot in common. Still only a five sheltie household??? Another question, we're planning a move to a new house soon. Any suggestions on how to make it easy for Maizee? She's very sensitive to any kind of change...
