I knoe this ia very vague answer to your question but again,, i would have to sit down and read the entire atrticle before commenting on it so what i am saying is just based on my own thoughts but having seen bad cases of distemper years back in both puppies and adults i would rather be ""safe than sorry"//but i never saw a case in a dog that i routinly did the yearly shots and suspect, with the information now i would not see any now using the three year routine. again this is a vaguae and non scientific aproach because the only pets i work with now are in an emergency clinic where i volunteer and do not see the dogs any more than a night or two and now follow up i think you will find after reading this, that my typing and spelling have not improved over the years and i have not proofed or corrected anything

First that report is about a mile and a half long...secondly i have retired but i think if i were still in practice i would give a atwo week repeat of puppy shots and then go on the three year program untill they are about 9 years old...Rabies as whatever is required by lawl. The only reason i would go the three year routine is because the titers are based on the absolute pure viruses...i don't feel , or wouldn't feel that safe because because the street bviruses may be differnt that the Cornell viruses..This is pertaining to distemper and hepatitis...Lepto i would ignore completly unless there were cases of it in the area..
When in practice there were several human cases in the hospital across from y office.
