Posted by snaffle on 9/7/2007, 11:07 pm I joined a horse board a few years ago.. it was a spin off.. of a spin off.. of the acmepet horse board. the original spin off became so nasty... so a couple ladies broke away and started their own board. I had always read the postings of one lady.. she was very bright.. intelligent.. and tactful. I chatted with her a few times... and eventually found out we had things in common. For example.. the arab gelding we owned that was whipped during a fair... was bred by the same vet this lady happened to have her mare stabled at for a short time. I eventually was able to meet her. What a wonderful person! She lives 49 minutes from me! The horse board she created.. has many acme pet people too. Many of them have changed their names .. (not me!!) No fighting is tolerated.. a few people have been banned over the years. I miss many of you!!!

I introduced my daughter to her and they have become great friends.
