Posted by LisaT on 4/22/2006, 7:16 pm, in reply to "Indy's NINTH birthday?! My goodness--" I guess they will continue to be our teachers. I confess that last summer I got a tattoo of Indy on my ankle -- not only to honor what she has taught me, but perhaps more importantly so I wouldn't forget the path that she has put me on. And there must be a part of Sander in that tattoo because he also taught me so much. Btw, you and he really helped last year when a very close friend of mine came down with cancer.... I know what you mean about how you defined yourself. I suppose it's also the way that others see you. If I haven't seen someone for awhile, it's not too long until they ask how Indy is doing. I'll give Indy a birthday hello from you, and check back to see if you get those pictures of Rudy figured out. Here are a couple of links to Indy and Max pictures...

For the most part, I still think of Indy as a 3-year old too. We've given her an Indian name nowadays...."Indy of the white whiskers"
Her thyroid and liver are showing signs of wear, but she seems like she feels better than ever, so we must be doing something right. She does love having a step-brother to boss around and bark at (of course he doesn't listen).
