Indy's NINTH birthday?! My goodness--

I still think of her as a 3-year old! LOL! It's very ... different, being without the one dog who has not only been my best friend, but who has also been a part of who I am, how I defined myself, for so long. It's not bad, and it's not good; there are times when it's very sad, and other, more frequent times, when it's entirely right and not sad at all. For me, the job is to not get stuck in the past and keep being all about the time when Sander the dog was here. I figure he's now teaching me those lessons we all need to learn about attachment and desire being the root of all suffering. Happy Birthday to Indy, and I hope you all have a wonderful day observing the occasion! Hey, I got a digital camera, and I'll try to post some pics of Rudy here.
