Posted by connie on 3/13/2006, 6:49 pm, in reply to "Re: There is a poster" Rudy is doing great! What a sweet, sweet dog he is. He was neutered last month, having gained enough weight to have the surgery; and I had x-rays of his hips and spine taken then. Ugly! He has all kinds of calcium deposits here, there and everywhere, including in his joints. He has severe CHD in both hips -- with calcification -- and his knees ain't so great! His spine is one long string of spondylosis. We guess his age, from those conditions primarily, to be around 10-11. Good thing he came here, that's for sure! Between the raw diet and the supplements, he's enjoying excellent health and mobility, and I see no reason why that won't continue for quite a few years. He hates thunderstorms but if he can get up on the bed and "hide" from the lightening with his head under a pillow, he's okay. LOL! He's a cool dog.
