I have been married for 13 years and we have an 11-year-old son. I don't attend church on a regular basis, but my son goes to a youth group at Calvary Church every week. I am a home-schooling mom. I started my business because my husband said I could have a horse if I could pay for the horse and all its upkeep by myself. 2 people currently serving on the board of directors in an animal rescue (not necessarily horse) 2 people who are not members of any rescue, but have at least somewhat of an interest in equine rescue 2 people who are not involved in rescue at all & are professional horse persons (breeders, show, race, competition, trainer, farrier, etc.) and 1 person who is an expert in ethics, perhaps somone who teaches the subject at a college or University, who should chair the committee.

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO VOTE. THIS COMMITTEE IS FOR YOU AND BY YOU. YOUR INPUT IS IMPORTANT. THANKS!
Introducing the 2nd Equine Rescue Ethics Committee Member volunteer Candidate:
LaLainya Thomas
I have taken in a lot of turtle and hedgehog rescues. I have also taken in several litters of puppies and kittens that had to be bottle-fed, raised them and found them homes. I have helped a friend take care of some rescued horses that were in really bad shape too. In the past I have volunteered with the SPCA grooming dogs so they would be more adoptable.
Hobbies/Interests include almost anything having to do with animals. I am an animal-person and love most species. Horses, dogs, cats, turtles and hedgehogs are at the top of the list, but I pretty much love all critters. My son started 4-h this year so we are also involved with that. I also enjoy reading, writing, watching anime and going to movies.
CAST YOUR VOTE BY SENDING E-MAIL TO ANTIONETTE SMITH AT
