Lucky is an older draft horse saved from the kill pens at the New Holland Horse Auction. We outbid the kill buyers to save this big lovable horse. He has gained some weight and has taken to being a family pet rather than a piece of farm equiptment. Lucky is ready for a FOREVER retirement home now. This 16.2 hand, dark bay gelding is SUPER easy to get along with. I believe he is a clydesdale/belgian cross. He does have some inflamation in his knees, but what do you expect after 20 years of hard work plowing fields? This does limit him to light riding or driving. He has been ridden English and Western. If he is going to be used for riding he should be placed on a joint supplement. Currently he isnt on anything extra. Lucky loads, trailers, bathes, is traffic safe, and is basically just a nice horse to have around. He would be GREAT for babysitting yearlings or young horses to show them the ropes and teach them manners. Asking $325 for him. Email for pics! He deserves a Great home!
