Posted by Alicia on 8/15/2005, 11:36 am A Ride-A-Thon and Poker Run to Benefit The Therapeutic Riding Programs of Sunday, September 18, 2005 ADDED FEATURE – A POKER RUN (10 MILERS ONLY) Maggy’s Ride is a Ride-A-Thon. Riders may sign up for a 5 or 10 mile ride. The fee to enter the Ride is $25 per rider, $30 if entering the Poker Run. Each rider receives a sponsorship form to enlist donations from friends, family, businesses, or acquaintances to sponsor their ride. Event sponsorships are also available. Every participant will receive a T-Shirt or mug. Additional prizes will be given to those riders who bring in $100 or more. Special prizes will be awarded to the rider who brings in the most dollars in sponsorships and those who finish their rides closest to the prescribed times. Green Lane Park is located in northwestern Montgomery County, PA. The park consists of approximately 3100 acres of woods and fields including 3 lakes. Food, portable rest rooms, and large parking area will be available. There is also an overnight campground for riders and their horses.
