Horse in danger of going to the Shipshewana IN sale on Friday morning. Gypsy a 7 y/o Standardbred raced bad last night and the owner is so mad he is witholding grain and bringing the horse to the "meat section" of the sale. I'm not sure if there is one but that is what he said. He would not consider selling him as a riding horse last night he was so mad. Hes bringing two horses a 2 yo filly and this one. Gypsy is a black with white star stallion but he seems gentle with a good personality. I think I can talk him into selling him as a riding horse if the money is in front of him and I give him a day to cool off. He will take $450 for him probably thats what he said the meat price would be. He wants $600 for the filly. Gypsy is about 15 hands I think he is very pretty he does have an open injury on the inside of his left knee. If you want to keep him at the racetrack until pick up its $40.00 a month and I may be able to get the track vet to geld him..not sure on price...$100? He is giving the horse hay. But please contact ASAP this horse has little time...he might get mad and sell him to the first Amish person that visits the track and they are just as capable as selling him to the slaughterhouse as well. E-mail me or call anytime 859-396-4414. Thanks...please cross post! Jennifer
