Yes, it's a great friendly festival with the right balance between dances, dance classes and jam sessions. We were also very taken with the afternoon jam sessions in the bar most ably led by Aidan and Martin of Whiskey River. At one point I counted 5 fiddlers (it was fiddle heaven!). I spoke to a few locals who dropped in to these jam sessions who obviously picked up the good vibes of the festival and they said th ey'd book in next year for the dances. By the way, Bristol has fantastic public transport - buses and trains - for getting there and for getting around. Congratulations to Satu and her team for making it all possible.
