Tickets are now on sale for the Bristol Cajun & Zydeco Festival!!!
The dates are Friday 16th to Sunday 18th October 2009 and the venue as always is the delightful Folk House (40a Park Street, Bristol, BS1 5JG).
Now in it's 6th year, the Cajun & Zydeco Festival brings the sounds of the Louisiana bayous to Bristol . This year's fabulous international line-up consists of Cajun Roosters (Germany / UK / Holland), Cajun Dawgs, The Downtown Cajun Band (Holland), The Whiskey River Boys, Petite et la Grosse and Z-Funk, with top class cajun and zydeco dance tuition from Carol Wilson and Kay Anderson.
In addition to above, there will be jam sessions and a late night venue for further dancing and jamming on Friday and Saturday nights after the dances. The licensed bar will be open throughout the day and cajun and home cooked food will be available during lunchtimes and early evenings.
