i am deeply saddened by the news that Gloucester festival is no more. It was without a doubt my favourite festival and, with the help of Chris Hall, helped launch my musical "career". I always felt very welcomed by dancers, musicians and the Guildhall staff. It was fantastic to meet so many talented and genuine musicians from Louisiana, and the Gloucester festival was the place i met a lot of my heros of this music. Not to mention all the UK and European C/Z bands aswell!! I'd just like to quickly thank everyone who came to watch me perform at Gloucester.
The memories will always stay with me and hopefully Chris Hall can organise another amazing festival in the future.
