Can it really be a week since we were celebrating our adopted Cajun & Zydeco culture at Bristol?! What a ball we had, so many people to thank: an immense effort from Satu to mastermind the whole thing - thanks to you and your team. The bands were great - guys, we dancers really do appreciate dancing to live music and so did a whole bunch of non Cajun fans in on the Saturday night, bopping away. Special mention from me to Joe le Taxi (and Rees's amazing performance on Barry's accordion!). Cajun Company (always a joy) and Chris Hall's Bearcats (you can absolutely rely on them to put down great driving rhythms). I particulary enjoyed Whisky River jamming in the bar - great people, perfect for that setting.
Thanks also to my travelling companions and room mates. Looking forward to next year already.
Also looking forward to hearing about the O2 (I sadly couldnt go)
