I have been talking to another accordion player in Cheshire following this message, and he has told me about a session in Manchester so there are some people out there.
I guess my problem is I have always played with people with no Cajun background so I have nothing to judge my abilities, or lack of them, against which makes walking into a session a bit scary.
If nothing else turns up maybe the odd trip between Lancashire and North Yorkshire is a possibility.
