After a long break Cajun is back on the BBC. Last nights Mark Lamarr show on BBC Radio 2 Featured The Cajun Roosters and a few Cajun tracks thrown in for good measure. When was the last time Cleoma Breaux and Joe Falcon made it on to Radio 2...not for a while I'd say! Its up there on the BBC site for 7 days on listen back and there's an online track available for 5 weeks plus the 5 tracks we played on the show and some chat and banter. There's also pics on the BBC website. The last time there was any significant Cajun airtime was when Andy Kershaw championed it on his shows and when i had my own Radio 2 Cajun series which is going back 10 years (or is it more?) So give it a listen and let the BBC know we want more Cajun and Zydeco!
