Thank you for your helpful suggestion Peter. Perhaps you would like to send the information to all those folk and roots publications, we'd appreciate the help.
We of course plan to publicise the event ourselves - we have managed to run a successful Zydeco club in London for four years now - but most of the publicity will be handled via the Thames Festival office, in the mainstream press and websites - thousands of people attend this event every year. Although, of course, we want all the UK C & Z fans to attend the festival,we feel that this is a unique opportunity to reach a far wider audience, thus increasing the enjoyment and appreciation of the music, dance and culture.
There has been much discussion lately on this site about getting more people interested, and this is the way to do it!
