Endorse your comments totally. The award which is co-ordinated by Micheal Bentele is a tribute to all the hard working Cajun and Zydeco musicians of Europe. Michael works hard to put it all together in an effort to raise the profile of the music worldwide because not only does he play it but he believes in it totally. As he says in his own words its not about winners and losers its about raising the profile of this wonderful music. Last years awards were based on the verdicts of a panel of international judges and this year on email votes so its a great chance for the public and knowledgeable experts to vote for their own personal winners. However the real winner is Michael Bentele who puts it all together and follows through with cd's of all the european bands which he puts out to promote the scene. A positive guy with a positive approach. Its thanks to guys like him with optimism, vision and drive that this music can still tell its story! Chris Hall
