As Gavin Lewery acknowledged at end of ZFunk's fabulous performance at SwampRock in London last Saturday: he's the only drummer this side of the pond who really "gets" that American zydeco "double-pump" (though there are some other great drummers who aren't far off). Thanks Andy. We're very lucky to have you.

Unfortunately there's no category for Best Zydeco Drummer at the European Cajun and Zydeco Awards, but if there were, I'd be voting without hesitation for Joe-le-Taxi's Andy Watson.
