I am sorry to see not only a good cause let down, but also the dancers who would go let down. If the alternative of a decent quality scratch band is on the cards, I would be willing to play fiddle or guitar and some accordeon. I am 50 miles away to the southeast for practice purposes although, with the short time available, this idea would only work with people who are "ready to go" with a repertoire of standards.
