We therefore want to make midnight on Sunday 17th December the deadline for bands to contact us. Cajun UK does an enormous amount to publicise UK bands and their gigs, and all at no cost, so come on you lot out there and do something for us for a change and at the same time help out a very worthy cause trying to find a cure for this life threatening and life limiting disease that affects babies and young people. It would be very sad if we had to tell the CF event organisers that no Cajun band is willing to offer its services for their charity. Jim (Webmaster Cajun UK)

On 7th December I put a request on this Message Board for a band to play for expenses, food and drinks at a Cystic Fibrosis charity gig on Saturday 17th February 2007. To say that the response has been disappointing would be an understatement and this is not reflecting well either on Cajun UK or on the Cajun music community generally. Only one band has expressed an interest and sadly they are no longer able to do it due to personal reasons.
