Posted by Cajun UK on December 7, 2006, 10:54 am Cajun UK is seeking a good Cajun band that would be willing to waive their normal fee and play for reasonable expenses; drinks and Cajun food will be provided. Would any band who is prepared to take on this gig and support this worthwhile charity either post a message on this Message Board, phone Jim on 0115 925 2460 or Mick on 01530 263421, or e-mail cajun.uk@ntlworld.com

A local Cystic Fibrosis Support Group has asked Cajun UK to assist in organising a charity Cajun dance. The event will take place at Bramcote Memorial Hall, Notts, on Saturday 17 February 2007. Cajun UK will be providing a dance workshop and we also hope to provide delicious spicy Cajun food from Sara’s Kitchen. All proceeds will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Cystic Fibrosis is the most common life-threatening inherited disease and currently has no cure. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only national charity solely concerned with the wellbeing of people with cystic fibrosis, supporting the development of new treatments and funding research into discovering a cure.
