All dancers are called for 11 am. They do not have to be in full costume at that point, but if their first number involves a wig, they should come with their wigs on if they need help with their wig. At 11 am, we will start running through the show on stage. We were not able to have access to the Magnificat stage before Sunday. Every number will practice on stage. Most numbers will also be practicing seveal times in the practice rooms backstage. Food and drink are allowed. Dancers can be sent with snacks or sandwiches and water. Nothing messy, please. Some water and snacks will be provided. EACH ROOM MUST CLEAN UP AFTER ITSELF AT THE END OF THE SHOW. At 2:15 or so, all practice will cease and we will focus on getting dressed and ready for lineups. Younger dancers can be sent with gameboys or other quiet things to occupy themselves with, perhaps even an old-fashioned book. Believe it or not, there will not be a lot of down time. We gave each dancer who was present on Thursday an "itinerary" of their dances and costumes. I think/hope most dancers know what number(s) they are in. We will have helpers in each room to make sure they are dressed properly, ready and lined up for each dance. Each group will be part of a final bow at the end of the program, in addition to bows for each number. Any questions, please post, we will try to answer.
