Posted by nancy lm Please, if you wish to know about the BARF regimen, get one of Billinghurst's books or several other authors out there that know how to feed a balanced raw diet. What was presented above is not balanced and includes things that BARF doesn't, namely grains - canned sardines twice a week - well, that isn't raw for one thing and is way too salty for that often of ingestion. Adding milk products each meal is not BARF either. BARF IS feeding raw bones and meat - this is not BARF - and it isn't very balanced or complete, but that is your option to choose to feed that way, simply don't pass it off as something it is not, namely BARF. You can find out more about actual BARF regimens by doing a search on the internet, or check out the information at Billinghurst's site: www.barfworld.com - there are a number of BARF groups as well as a Doberman specific one on Yahoo. Please seek out correct information.

this is not the BARF regimen. Chicken necks are not made up of much bone at all and are mainly cartilidge and can not sustain a dog well.
