Hi Connie Sue
I know how you feel. Part of you is proud and happy for finding him a great home. And then the other side is a little sad the he will be gone.BUT knowing that he will be in a great home with kids to love him will make you feel very proud of all the work you and your friends did to take care of him and finding him that great home.
I have a Golden now in my home. we think he is 10 years old. He is a great dog.he loves people. He is good to all my animals, the goats and the chickens too. He does not bother them. We can leave hin I the field with them all night . he even sleeps in the barn with them.It will be hard to let him go.
A friend of mine said some one had dump him at her house. She lives down the street from me.I pick him up and took him straight to my sisters and got him a hair cutt and flea bath. He was covered in fleas and ticks. He loks just like the golden on Homeward bound that was called SHADOW> My daughter Amanda is calling him Rusty. We are taking him to the vet today to get a check up and to have a heart worm test.My daughter and I are taking care of the vet bill. This will be her first time taking care of a rescue dog.She already wants to keep him.I hope we can talk leroy into it.
Judy
