Posted by Connie Sue It's tough saying who's going to miss old "Sasquatch" most -- although we figure it probably won't be the resident dogs.

Good news (and a little sad). Max goes to his forever home the morning of July 4. At three months, this has been my longest fosterage to date. He's a wonderful boy, and we (including my formerly non-dog husband) would love to keep him permanently, however, we're realistic that we don't have the resources to do him justice to his potential. He'll be going to a doctor and her husband (a Mr. Mom) and their two children and GSP female (a pair of liver colored dogs!) He leaves with a package of "stuff" -- "cool" collar, new leash, bandanna, tennis ball, squeaky toy, rawhides, treats (including home-made that I made), not to mention his HW pills, recipes for his favorite liver treats (he tried to scratch the oven door open when they were baking!) eval on what he's like, habits, etc -- ran to 4 pages -- as much info as I can give them so this stays a permanent placement. He deserves it.
