Hi Connie Sue I know the feeling. about 3 years ago i rescue a blue dobie that weigh 38 pounds. She was surviving on her brothers dead body. IT WAS SOOO SICK> She too had fleas and ticks. she also had heart wormsI found a vet that only charge me half to treat her for the heart worms. I kept her for 7 months. had her fix when she was better and weighed a little more. i found her a great home. She is a house dog now, with a 6 year old now to play with.i hope your dobie has a happy ending . What is your adoption fee? maybe I can find some one that might be interested in her.
