Yeah, depending on the age. I've seen grown dogs that are already treeing coon that were scared of a caged coon. Just keep messing with him. You don't want to keep that coon in the cage too awful long. Mess with him another day, and see if he gets fired up. Maybe pull it up in a tree. After that, I'd tie him up close, and turn it loose so he can see it run off. If he don't do anything, wait a couple weeks and try it again.
