Sun Valley Models

I know that 9600+/- Sun Valley model Monterey's were produced in 1954, and another 1700 or so Montclair Sun Valleys were made in 1955. Does anybody have good documentable numbers of how many of these models are still in existance and/or currently registered??
Also, I've heard stories about there being a few Sun Valley's produced in 1956 using "left over" glasstops. The rumor is that Henry (or more likely Edsel Ford) gave these 56 Sun Valley's to FoMoCo executives and VIP's. Anyone out there been aboe to confirm?
