Prince Cyril Asked to Be the Patron of the 'St. St. Cyril and Methodius' church in Veliki Preslav. Standartnews Followers of the NMS will address an official letter to the son of Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha asking him to commit himself as the churchwarden. The members of the initiative committee will invite Prince Cyril to guest to Veliki Preslav on the occasion of May 11, the patron saint's day of the local church. King Boris III provided the means for the construction of the church and his brother Cyril was its patron. (PY)
