Russian patriarch Alexis II will arrive in Bulgaria for the celebrations on March 3. Together with Patriarch Maxim he will read a solemn mass, sources from the Holy Synod announced. The celebrations on occasion of the 100th anniversary from the inauguration of the Russian Cathedral 'Rozhdestvo' ('Christmas') at the foot of the Mount Shipka is the official reason for his visit to Bulgaria, Bishop Galaction of Stara Zagora said. The Cathedral was is built entirely by donations raised by the Russian people.
