Patriarch Maxim Receives Papal Legates.

Tomorrow Patriarch Maxim will receive two papal legates to specify, in terms of days and hours, the visit of Pope John Paul II to Bulgaria this May, said Metropolitan Gelasius from the Holy Synod. The first deputy secretary of the State Secretariat of the Vatican, Archbishop Leonardo Sandri and the head of protocol of the Secretariat Monsignor Renato Boccardo arrive in Bulgaria today especially for the purpose. They are envisaged to also meet Premier Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Foreign Minister Solomon Passy. The visit of Pope John Paul II has been planned to take place between May 23 and 25.
