"Archbishop Stefan is center of the life and unity, both in his church - the Skopje eparchy as well as in the Macedonian Orthodox Church," metropolitan of Strumica Naum said. His Holiness Naum was one of the promoters of this edition, which covers the period from the resurrection of the autonomy of the Ohrid Archbishopcy to the appointment of His Holiness Stefan for fifth Head of the MOC. His Holiness Stefan was elected for Head of the MOC on October 10, 1999 and he received the crown of the Macedonian archbishops in the Cathedral church St. Sofia in Ohrid. "His Holiness Stefan is a man with pure heart, and only such man can have internal peace and is able to spread peace among the mankind," Metropolitan Naum said. The second promoter of the book, president of the commission for relations with the religious communities in the Republic of Macedonia, Gjorgji Naumov, said that the book included 200 photographs and is divided in four chapters. The first chapter contains chronology of events regarding the Holy Synod, the second one is dedicated to the appointment of the new Head of the MOC, the third chapter is focused on the electoral church and peoples gathering and interviews with His Holiness Stefan and the fourth chapter regards the Macedonian Orthodox Church, from the days of the apostles until the present day. In her address, Minister of Culture Ganka Samoilovska Cvetanova expressed her satisfaction from the ministry's contribution to the realization of this book. Except the Ministry of Culture, publishers of the photo-monography are the Holy Archbishop Synod of the MOC, the Commission for relations with the MOC and with the religious communities in Macedonia and the Macedonian Information Agency. Author of the book, high priest Ratomir Grozdanoski said that the goal of this edition is to show that our church was not built yesterday and that our church is a Church of the apostles and Church of St. Kliment. His Holiness Stefan gave the first three copies of the book to President Boris Trajkovski, to Minister Samoilovska-Cvetanova and to Prime Minister Ljubco Georgievski.
The photo-monography "Stefan, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia", written by high priest Ratomir Grozdanoski was promoted Wednesday in the gathering temple "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Skopje.
