Hi Lyn, I did not meet your criteria, but I have to say that there is no "norm" on anything. Most women seem to have a difference in tx, even if it is slight. To me, surgery seems the best chance for us. I know a woman who was stage 4, had a stem cell transplant, and is doing great (early 30's at diag.)
I knew a woman who was stage 0, had recurrence after 4 years, and is no longer here. No one walking this earth can say how long we will be here. It is not easy going through bc. I hope that you have a lot of help and support. Most days go by without my thinking of bc.
