Is there anyone out there who had a histologic score of 9? I had a 3.8 tumor removed by sentinal node surgery in Nov of 2002. No positive lymph nodes but my cancer was a very aggressive kind and I was estrogen/progestrin negative and can't take tamoxin so I had chemo in Jan & Feb of 2003 followed by radiation that ended in May 2003. So far so good but the high histologic score scares me. It is rating the cancer in three parts with a 3 the worst in each category. I had a 3 in all categories. Anyone out there who knows what I am talking about? Life does get better as time goes by. I guess I am thinking more about it because my checkup is coming up in a few weeks and I need to get my mammogram next week. Wish I could just forget it. I just know that cancer does not have to get you down and keep you down. You do need support from those who "know where you are coming from". Thanks for listening.
