CONGRATULATIONS! What a wonderful story you have! I hope you celebrate every day!
Our diagnosis' are similar, but I was only diagnosed in December of 2011 (43 years old, Stage III, IDC, ER+, PR-, HER2+). I lost my husband to cancer 1-20-12, started chemo myself 1-26-12, completed 6 chemo treatments 4-26-12, had a bilateral mast 6-19-12 and will start radiation in a couple weeks.
I went to this part of the site hoping to find a story to give me a little bit of reassurance that I will eventually be able to put this all behind me and your story was the first post! I am so happy for you! I am so glad that you have been able to be there for your kids and now for your grandchildren!
Take care and keep sharing your good news! There are so many people that need to hear it! When I am feeling scared I am going to revisit your post for a boost of confidence!
