Next month I will be a 12 year survivor! My tumor was big, bad and ugly. Masectomy, 2 positive nodes (one not encapsulated), Stage III, ER/PR-, HER2+, vascular invasion...I think about covers it.... Chemo x8, radiation, herceptin for 1 year, reconsruction year 3.
I am very HAPPY to be alive. At the time my girls were 13 and 9 and today I am a grandmother!! I am blessed.
