I'm Kathy, I was dx in 1997 with stage 3, 7.7cm left breast and nodes. Mast and nodes in Nov. 1997. Chemo started Jan. 1998, 8 months, 4 Big Red, 4 Taxol w/ steriods. I was suppose to do rad..but in my studies found rad was causing more heart problems with left BC. I did not do radiation. Put on Tamoxifin. Just short of 5 yrs, mammo found spot in right breast. It was told before the weekend and couldn't talk with my onc, so I decided on my own I was opting for the total mast again. Then put on Aromasin and still on it for almost 7 years, come this Oct. I will have a C scan, if clean no more meds. No one is more greatful for my life than me!! Love every day...Love to all of you. Kathy fron South Carolina
