Hi All. I just found this board, too! It'll be good to read some of your stories. I was first diagnosed in Dec. 1998. Had lumpectomy, chemo, and rads, and was cancer free until this year. Had a new occurrence of DCIS in Jan. '06, followed by a double mastectomy. I feel healthy and am very active now. My husband and I love hiking in the backcountry of the desert southwest. I have a huge organic garden, fruit trees and berries, and many large flower beds. We eat delicious healthy foods and juices. So very much to be thankful for!!! Every day is precious; life is good!
