My mom was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Cancer. We were told it was a Stage 4. She is being treated with Hormone Therapy ALONE-since her Cancer is hormone positive. They also found 2 spots on her liver that they say is Cancer. They said they see no need for Chemo, Radiation, or Surgery at this time. Has anyone else been in this same situation? It scares me that they are not doing a masectomy to get rid of the Cancer in her breast! Also, is there anyone out there who has this same sort of Cancer, and has been a survivor for several years? I am so afraid that my mom is going to die! They said that as of right now, her liver functions are fine. But, I'm afraid as to what the future might hold.
