Posted by Glena on 9/21/2006, 11:51 am I am now a 23 year survivor after being stage II with 7 pos. nodes out of 10. My tumor was 1.5 cm and it was ER/PR neg. No HER2 back then. I had double mast. with silicone implants. Still doing good. The chemo I had was LPAM-5FU and alkarin in a pill. The chemo was standard back then. I had no Rads. They just gave a weaker dose over a longer period of time but I did not get all of the side effects that the ladies get now. I am Thankful that I can tell this story and I wish you all a long life. I posted here back in March of 2004. I was on my 21st year out. So many of you posted and ask me questions but I just found them today so I will try to answer them.
