I was told I had stage 2 breast cancer 21 years ago at the age of 28, I had one of the first lumpectomies, chemo and radiation in 1985. 11 years after this I found out I was pregnant I was overjoyed I had a beautiful baby girl in 1996. In 2001 I found out I had breast cancer again in the other breast. Once again I had a lumpectomy, radiation and 6 months of chemo. I recently went through another scare and it ended up not being breast cancer. I had a CAT scan of by abdomen, chest and pelvis and a bone scan all came back cancer free. It has been 5 years and I am cancer free and I hope this gives hope to all the young and old survivors
