Just curious if there is any problem with the fact that several of the new performance dates, including the entire opening weekend and closing performance, conflict with three major Jewish holidays:
- Friday, September 18, 2009: Rosh Hashanah, one of the High Holidays, begins that evening. The holiday continues until sundown on Sunday Sept 20th.
- Sunday, September 27: Yom Kippur, the other High Holiday, begins that evening (though the performance is a matinee)
- Saturday, October: Sukkot, another major holiday, begins that evening.
While I'm sure this will not effect most people, do you think this will have any noticeable effect on ticket sales or potential cast and crew members?
