Subject: The Boys Next Door Cast
We are still in search of a black male actor to play the Lucien P. Smith character. It is critical to the feel of the play, the emotional aspects of the plot and the interaction of the "Boys" that we cast the role as written...a black man. Additionally, it will also be extremely important that he be a strong actor. The role of Lucien is quite demanding, as are each of the roles in this play.
However, having said that, if we eventually find that we must cast some other ethnicity, I do have a couple of ideas that could work. It is to this end that I have also not cast the 3-cameo male part.
