Intern Company, Footlighters theatre program for students 15-20 yrs, will perform another musical this summer.
Auditions Sunday May 25th, 3 pm at Footlighters playhouse.
Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers, "Working" paints a vivid portrait of the men and women the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the parking lot attendant, the waitress, the millworker, the mason, the trucker, the fireman, the housewife, just to name a few.
As members of the Intern Company, students learn about community theatre by mounting a full-scale production. Intern Company students handle every aspect of the production - acting, designing and building the set and lights, designing and managing costumes and make-up, handling ticket reservations and publicity - Intern Company students really do put on their own show!
