Thank you for your kind words regarding the ensemble of Urinetown. While none of us are perfect, we feel that our female lead is perfectly cast. Maybe, with all of your musical expertise, you should have come out and auditioned for the part of Hope. Or maybe you did and that is why you singled out her voice. Unbeknownst to any of us at the time, there was a very special person in the audience on the same night you were there. He was involved with Urinetown when it was first introduced to the NYC Fringe Festival. His comments regarding our Hope differ vastly from yours. News travels fast so I'm sure you've already heard the story.
