Gathright or Buck

Who will have more value in a 5x5 AL-only league the rest of the season, Gathright or Buck? I lost Beltran to the NL and, with the ability to adjust my roster, can add any position player I want in Beltran's spot. It is a very deep league so I don't think either player will be a free agent very long. I must act quickly.
